  1. Conduct research and development activities related to power card technology, under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers.
  2. Assemble, test, and troubleshoot power card prototypes and equipment according to set procedures and protocols.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement design improvements and optimizations.
  4. Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and other relevant data.
  5. Assist in the creation and maintenance of lab equipment and supplies inventory.
  6. Ensure that safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in power electronics technology and industry trends.
  8. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in power card technology.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and provide regular progress updates on projects.
  10. Participate in the development and execution of test plans for new power card products.
  11. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support to other team members.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures in the lab.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Power Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Ibm's Power Systems, Including Installation, Configuration, And Troubleshooting.

  • Technical Background: A Solid Technical Background In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field Is Required. Familiarity With Operating Systems Such As Aix And Linux Is Also Preferred.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: As A Power Card Lab Technician Apprentice, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Technical Issues. Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Think Critically Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Attention To Detail And Be Able To Follow Precise Instructions For Testing And Troubleshooting Power Cards.

  • Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Team Members, Engineers, And Other Stakeholders Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Clearly Articulate Technical Information And Collaborate With Others To Achieve Project Goals.
