Job Description

At IBM, we are looking for an experienced and innovative PLM Consultant – Digital Engineering to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and at least five years of experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, preferably in an IBM environment. They should also have experience in developing and deploying digital engineering solutions, as well as a thorough knowledge of cloud-based PLM systems and SaaS-based PLM solutions.The successful candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. They should bring a high level of creativity and an ability to think outside the box to solve complex technical problems. They should also have the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deploy digital engineering solutions utilizing PLM systems.
  2. Develop cloud-based PLM systems and SaaS-based PLM solutions.
  3. Work independently and as part of a team to resolve complex technical problems.
  4. Understand customer needs and design solutions to meet them.
  5. Research and analyze current PLM systems’ capabilities and limitations.
  6. Manage the development and deployment of PLM systems.
  7. Maintain and update PLM systems.
  8. Document and report on all activities related to PLM systems.
  9. Troubleshoot any technical issues related to PLM systems.
  10. Manage customer relationships and provide technical support.
