Job Description

Our Platform Engineering Product team is focused on Watson Weather and Advertising internal development team productivity and success by creating and supporting internal platforms with Automation Frameworks, Gitops concepts adoption, and Kubernetes-native Operator development of complex components like databases, caching, and streaming services. Help us take these platforms and products to market, evangelize their usage, run architecture and development focus groups and workshops, and help provide expertise across teams on a variety of cutting-edge technological topics and solutions. Help us make it easy for our customers to use our platform tools and offerings. Coding is an essential part of the job focusing on examples, training materials, explanatory demos, SDK’s and tools as well as live products supported by Platform Engineering team.

Job Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in back end system development

  • 3+ years experience with AWS
