  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive federal sales strategy in collaboration with the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Treasury.
  2. Meet and exceed revenue targets through effective sales planning, execution, and management.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the IRS and Treasury, to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  4. Utilize extensive knowledge of the federal market, specifically within the IRS and Treasury sectors, to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  5. Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales goals.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product development, to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
  8. Communicate regularly with senior management on sales performance, market trends, and potential opportunities and risks.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and competitive landscape to guide sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  10. Represent IBM at industry events, conferences, and meetings with key stakeholders to promote our products and services.
  11. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of IBM's products and services to effectively articulate their value proposition to potential clients.
  12. Collaborate with other Managing Directors and sales teams within IBM to share best practices and drive overall company growth.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all sales activities.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Extensive Experience In Federal Sales: The Managing Director Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In Selling To Federal Agencies, Specifically The Irs And Treasury Departments. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of The Federal Procurement Process And Regulations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Managing Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Federal Sales Professionals. They Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Motivate And Guide Their Team Towards Achieving Sales Targets.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Irs And Treasury Operations: The Successful Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Operations And Priorities Of The Irs And Treasury Departments. This Includes Knowledge Of Their Budget Cycles, Key Decision-Makers, And Current And Future Initiatives.

  • Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Managing Director Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Sales Strategies For The Federal Market, And Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills. They Should Also Have A Solid Understanding Of The Federal Market Landscape And Be Able To Identify New Business Opportunities.
