
Managing Consultant, Cyber Incident Response

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of consultants to provide effective and timely response to cyber security incidents for our clients. As a Managing Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and protection of our clients' valuable assets. We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and driven individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for cyber security. - Lead and manage a team of consultants to effectively respond to cyber security incidents for clients.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective resolution of cyber threats.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for cyber incident response, providing guidance and support to the team and clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential security breaches or incidents.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and resources for incident response.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats, trends, and best practices to continuously improve incident response processes.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely response to incidents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on the status of incidents and resolution efforts.
- Identify and implement improvements to incident response processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure a coordinated response to cyber security incidents.
- Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and knowledge in cyber incident response.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction with incident response services.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
- Provide support and assistance to other teams and departments as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Incident Response And Cyber Security.
Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Giac.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Abilities With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
