  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with government clients in the US Federal, Department of State, and Justice territory.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis of client needs and industry trends to effectively position IBM's technology solutions.
  5. Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of IBM's products and services.
  6. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.
  7. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in government regulations that may impact sales.
  9. Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the company.
  10. Act as a brand ambassador for IBM, promoting the company's mission, values, and reputation.
  11. Continuously develop and enhance sales skills and product knowledge through training and self-learning.
  12. Represent IBM at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  13. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients from initial contact to post-sales support.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Of State & Justice Territory, It Is Important To Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Government Procurement Process. This Includes Knowledge Of Contract Vehicles, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interactions With Government Clients, Including Presenting And Pitching Ibm Solutions. Therefore, Strong Communication And Presentation Skills Are Essential For Success In This Position.

  • Experience In Federal Sales: Previous Experience In Federal Sales Is An Important Qualification For This Job. A Successful Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Selling Technology Solutions To Government Agencies, Particularly In The Us Federal, Dept. Of State & Justice Territory.
