  1. Design and develop modern and user-friendly frontend interfaces for IBM's IMS Web UI.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional user interfaces.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends and technologies, and incorporate them into IBM's products.
  4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and bug-free frontend code.
  5. Optimize frontend performance to ensure fast and responsive user experience.
  6. Work closely with back-end developers to integrate frontend and backend functionality seamlessly.
  7. Create and maintain technical documentation for frontend development processes and best practices.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any frontend issues or bugs that may arise.
  9. Continuously improve and enhance existing frontend interfaces to meet evolving user needs.
  10. Collaborate with UX designers to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing user experience.
  11. Adhere to IBM's coding standards and guidelines for frontend development.
  12. Communicate project progress and potential roadblocks to project managers and other team members.
  13. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  14. Keep track of industry developments and seek out opportunities to implement new technologies in IBM's frontend development processes.
  15. Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all frontend development work.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Html, Css, And Javascript: As A Frontend Developer At Ibm, Strong Knowledge And Experience In These Core Frontend Technologies Are Essential For Building And Maintaining Web-Based User Interfaces.

  • Experience With Frontend Frameworks: Ibm Often Utilizes Popular Frontend Frameworks Such As Angular, React, And Vue.js For Their Web Ui Projects. Knowledge And Experience With These Frameworks Are Highly Desirable For This Role.

  • Familiarity With Responsive Design Principles: The Ability To Create Web Uis That Are Optimized For Different Devices And Screen Sizes Is Crucial For A Frontend Developer At Ibm. Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of Responsive Design Principles And Experience In Implementing Them.

  • Knowledge Of Ux/Ui Best Practices: Ibm Values User-Centered Design And Places A Strong Emphasis On Creating Intuitive And User-Friendly Interfaces. Candidates Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Ux/Ui Best Practices And Be Able To Apply Them In Their Work.
