
Digital Sales Specialist- Apptio Sales
IBM is looking for an experienced and driven Digital Sales Specialist- Apptio Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.The Digital Sales Specialist- Apptio Sales will be responsible for leading the sales process for Apptio and other IBM Software solutions, from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure. This role requires a high degree of customer interface and a detailed knowledge of the IBM Software portfolio, as well as a strong understanding of industry trends and customer needs.We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the software industry• Proven track record of consistent achievement of sales targets• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills• Ability to build strong relationships with customers• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you have the experience and qualifications to excel in this position, we invite you to join our team and help shape the future of IBM.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales process for Apptio and other IBM Software solutions from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a successful sales process.
- Analyze customer needs and determine the best IBM Software solution to meet those needs.
- Present IBM Software solutions in a compelling manner to potential customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and customer needs.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
- Provide technical support when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer data.
