Job Description

IBM is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Defect Inspection & Yield Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting defect inspections and yield analysis to ensure high-quality products are delivered to our customers. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about quality assurance and has a strong technical background.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as engineering, physics, or mathematics. You should also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, defect inspection, and yield analysis. You should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct defect inspections and yield analysis to ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers
  • Develop methods for continuous improvement of product quality
  • Analyze and report quality assurance metrics
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to quality assurance processes
  • Evaluate new products for potential defects
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions
  • Monitor and audit production processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Resolve customer complaints related to quality assurance issues
