- Design and develop robust data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS to support our data-driven approach to business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize data processes for efficiency and scalability, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of data.
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses to support business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with data flow, data quality, or data infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our data infrastructure.
- Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and accuracy for their projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation regarding data processes, systems, and procedures.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure data privacy and security standards are met.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to data engineering projects.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
- Continuously monitor and optimize data infrastructure performance to meet business needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and progress reports.
Proficient In Aws Cloud Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Experience Working With Various Aws Services Such As Ec2, S3, Rds, Redshift, And Emr. They Should Also Have A Solid Understanding Of Aws Security Best Practices.
Extensive Experience With Data Platforms: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Working With Different Data Platforms Such As Hadoop, Spark, And Cassandra. They Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Warehousing And Data Modeling Concepts.
Strong Programming Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Scala. They Should Be Able To Write Efficient And Scalable Code To Process, Transform And Analyze Large Datasets.
Experience With Data Pipeline And Etl Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Data Pipeline And Etl Tools Such As Apache Airflow, Informatica, Or Talend. They Should Be Able To Design And Build Complex Data Pipelines To Extract, Transform, And Load Data From Various Sources.
Knowledge Of Devops And Ci/Cd Practices: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Devops Principles And Experience In Using Tools Such As Ansible, Terraform, And Jenkins. They Should Be Able To Automate The Deployment And Management Of Data Platforms On Aws.
