Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Skills: A Data Engineer-Data Platforms At Ibm Should Possess A Strong Background In Computer Science, Engineering Or A Related Field. They Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, And Sql, As Well As Have Experience With Database Management Systems And Cloud Computing Platforms.

  • Knowledge Of Data Warehousing And Etl Tools: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Warehousing Concepts And Be Familiar With Popular Etl Tools Such As Informatica, Talend, Or Ibm's Own Datastage. They Should Also Have Experience With Data Integration And Data Modeling.

  • Big Data Experience: Ibm Is A Leader In The Big Data Space, And A Data Engineer-Data Platforms Should Have Experience Working With Large Datasets And Big Data Technologies Such As Hadoop, Spark, And Nosql Databases. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Scalable And Efficient Data Pipelines.

  • Experience With Ibm Products And Platforms: Ibm Offers A Wide Range Of Products And Platforms For Data Management, Analytics, And Ai. A Data Engineer-Data Platforms Should Have Experience Working With These Tools, Such As Ibm Cloud Pak For Data, Ibm Db2, And Ibm Watson Studio.

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: In Addition To Technical Qualifications, A Data Engineer-Data Platforms Should Possess Strong Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams. They Should Also Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment And Be Able To Adapt To Changing Project Requirements.
