  1. Develop and maintain data integration solutions to meet the business needs of IBM clients.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data integration solutions.
  3. Utilize technical expertise in data integration technologies to design, develop, and implement solutions.
  4. Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
  5. Ensure data integrity and data security in all integration processes.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Continuously monitor and optimize data integration processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Stay updated on emerging data integration technologies and trends and make recommendations for their implementation.
  9. Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and management.
  10. Mentor and train junior data engineers in data integration best practices and technologies.
  11. Collaborate with data scientists and data analysts to support their data needs.
  12. Adhere to company data governance policies and procedures.
  13. Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
  14. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  15. Contribute to the development and enhancement of data integration standards and best practices within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Data Integration Tools And Technologies: A Strong Candidate For A Data Engineer-Data Integration Role At Ibm Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge And Experience Working With Various Data Integration Tools And Technologies Such As Etl, Data Warehouses, And Data Lakes.

  • Strong Programming And Scripting Skills: A Data Integration Engineer At Ibm Is Expected To Have Expertise In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And Java, As Well As Experience With Scripting Languages Like Bash And Powershell.

  • Experience With Data Modeling And Database Design: A Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Data Modeling Principles And Database Design Concepts To Build And Maintain Efficient Data Integration Processes.
