- Conduct regular threat assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within IBM's systems and networks.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to potential cyber attacks in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other cybersecurity team members to develop and implement effective threat detection strategies and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and industry trends to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Utilize various security tools and technologies to enhance threat detection capabilities.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to threat detection processes and procedures.
- Communicate and collaborate with clients to provide updates on potential threats and advise on best practices for protecting their data and systems.
- Participate in regular training and development to enhance skills and stay current with evolving cyber threats.
- Continuously assess and improve threat detection processes to ensure the highest level of security for IBM's clients.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Threat Detection And Analysis, Preferably In A Large Enterprise Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Network And System Security, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Vulnerability Scanning Tools.
Familiarity With Industry Standard Security Frameworks And Regulations, Such As Nist, Iso 27001, And Gdpr.
Proficiency In Scripting And Automation Languages, Such As Python, Powershell, And Bash, For Developing And Maintaining Security Tools And Processes.
