Job Description

We’re looking for a Sr. Content Strategist / UX Copywriter to join our talented The Weather Channel team and focus on delivering compelling and engaging experiences across our premium, subscription and bundling offerings. Model and format content into viable, feasible, and desirable solutions. Research and design messaging and content strategies that deliver the right content at the right time, in alignment with our user and business goals and marketing/editorial themes. Simplify complex content for users and create context that drives user actions. Write, curate, and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and usability. Participate in discovery and design activities to solve user problems. Define content requirements that inform the design process. Support privacy initiatives and customer support channels. Define, evolve, and apply a consistent voice and tone throughout the content journey.

Job Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of strategic and tactical content creation and copywriting within UX, digital marketing, social media, e-commerce

  • Previous e-commerce experience at national-level e-commerce site a big plus.

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the latest content trends, tools, and practices.

  • Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and agile methodologies
