They will be an experienced negotiator and have the ability to think strategically in order to develop strong proposals. The Capture Manager will be responsible for working with the senior leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies that will help us identify and win new business opportunities. They will lead the capture process from start to finish, including prospecting, proposal development, negotiations and contract closure. They will also lead the capture team in developing and implementing competitive strategies and tactics.The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in business development and government capture management, including a deep understanding of the federal acquisition process. They will also have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and knowledge of FAR, DFAR and other government regulations. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the senior leadership team to identify and win new business opportunities.
- Lead the capture process from start to finish, including prospecting, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Lead the capture team in developing and implementing competitive strategies and tactics.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
- Monitor the market and identify new business opportunities.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Review and revise contracts and other documentation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Forecast future sales and develop strategies to increase revenue.
- Monitor performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
