  2. Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  9. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to CI/CD.
  10. Train and mentor team members on build and packaging processes.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates.
  12. Ensure compliance with company standards and security protocols.
  13. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency of code.
  14. Communicate updates and progress to relevant stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Ci/Cd Tools: A Build/Packaging Specialist At Ibm Must Have A Strong Understanding And Experience With Various Ci/Cd Tools Such As Jenkins, Gitlab, And Ansible. They Should Be Able To Create And Maintain Automated Build And Packaging Pipelines Using These Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Software Development Processes: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Software Development Life Cycle And Agile Methodologies. Therefore, A Build/Packaging Specialist Should Have Experience With Virtualization Technologies Such As Docker And Kubernetes. They Should Be Able To Create And Manage Containerized Applications And Deploy Them To Various Environments.

  • Strong Scripting Skills: A Build/Packaging Specialist Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Like Bash, Python, And Ruby. These Skills Are Essential For Automating Build And Packaging Processes And Managing Infrastructure As Code.
