- Administer Benefits Programs: The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently and accurately administer various benefits programs for IBM employees. This includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other employee benefits.
- Maintain Employee Records: The Benefits Associate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records related to benefits, including enrollment forms, changes, and terminations.
- Provide Employee Support: This role requires providing timely and effective support to employees regarding their benefits. This may include answering questions, resolving issues, and guiding employees through the enrollment process.
- Ensure Compliance: It is the responsibility of the Benefits Associate to stay up-to-date with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits and ensure that IBM's benefits programs are compliant with these regulations.
- Collaborate with Vendors: The Benefits Associate will work closely with benefits vendors, such as insurance companies and retirement plan providers, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of benefits to employees.
- Conduct Benefits Education: As a member of the HR team, the Benefits Associate will also be responsible for educating employees about their benefits options and assisting with the communication of any changes or updates to the benefits programs.
- Analyze and Report on Benefits Data: This role requires analyzing and reporting on benefits data to identify trends, usage, and costs. This information will be used to make informed decisions about the benefits programs offered by IBM.
- Maintain Confidentiality: The Benefits Associate must maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information, including personal and benefit-related data.
- Stay Organized: This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. The Benefits Associate will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and deadlines related to benefits administration.
- Continuously Improve Processes: The Benefits Associate will be expected to continuously review and improve processes related to benefits administration to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in delivering benefits to employees.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Benefits Administration.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Benefits.
