AWS Infrastructure Security Engineer

1. Develop and implement security measures for IBM's AWS infrastructure to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures.
3. Monitor and analyze AWS security logs and perform regular security audits to identify and mitigate any potential vulnerabilities or threats.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS security best practices and recommend improvements to our existing security protocols.
5. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to ensure the security of our AWS infrastructure.
6. Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate security practices into the development and deployment process.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on AWS security-related issues.
8. Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing on our AWS infrastructure and remediate any identified issues.
9. Create and maintain documentation of security procedures and protocols for our AWS systems.
10. Participate in incident response and provide support in the event of a security breach.
11. Stay informed about emerging threats and proactively recommend and implement security measures to protect against them.
12. Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a secure AWS infrastructure.
13. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our AWS security measures and make recommendations for improvements.
14. Act as a subject matter expert on AWS security and provide training and guidance to team members as needed.
