  1. Design and implement highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  2. Develop and maintain deployment processes, automation tools, and monitoring solutions for cloud-based applications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze client requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployments.
  5. Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and provide recommendations for using new tools and services.
  6. Ensure security and compliance of the cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and following industry standards.
  7. Optimize the performance and cost of cloud infrastructure by regularly reviewing and adjusting resources.
  8. Participate in code reviews, testing, and other quality assurance activities.
  9. Document processes, procedures, and design decisions related to the cloud infrastructure.
  10. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on cloud technologies and Devops practices.
  11. Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues related to the cloud infrastructure.
  13. Continuously improve and streamline processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  14. Maintain an active eDV clearance and adhere to security protocols and policies.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Aws: A Qualified Aws Devops Engineer Must Have A Deep Understanding Of The Aws Platform And Its Various Services, Including Ec2, S3, Lambda, And Cloudformation. They Should Also Have Experience With Aws Devops Tools Such As Codepipeline And Codedeploy.

  • Devops Methodology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Implementing And Managing Devops Processes And Methodologies, Including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, And Infrastructure Automation. They Should Also Be Proficient In Tools Such As Docker And Kubernetes.

  • Edv Clearance: The Role Requires A Candidate With An Active Edv Clearance, Which Is A High-Level Security Clearance Issued By The Australian Government. This Clearance Ensures That The Candidate Is Suitable To Work On Sensitive Projects And Has Undergone Thorough Background Checks.

  • Strong Scripting And Programming Skills: A Qualified Aws Devops Engineer Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Coding Languages Such As Python, Javascript, And Bash. They Should Also Be Proficient In Writing Scripts For Automation And Infrastructure Management.
