Application Developer zOS
Understand high level requirements and provide technical support in developing detailed requirements and business rule conditions for the Client projects. Perform impact analysis to existing client applications and document the impacted components during Elaboration phase. Perform feasibility analysis of the requirements for the application to determine the best approach for technical implementation. Code the components using Cobol, VSAM, DB2, Assembler, JCL, CICS with respect to the design documented. As an Application Developer, you will lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. The success of IBM is in your hands as you transform vital business needs into code and drive innovation.
At least 2 years of experience as a mainframe developer in a MMIS environment
At least 2 years of experience working for a government or private state health care payer
Working knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations/standards and industry standards and best practices
Ability to work in team environment
