  1. Design and develop high-quality, innovative and efficient web applications using Java and other relevant technologies.
  2. Collaborate with the team to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  4. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve and enhance technical skills.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  7. Document technical specifications and system configurations for reference and future maintenance.
  8. Continuously improve and optimize application performance and user experience.
  9. Communicate project progress and roadblocks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  10. Actively participate in team meetings and discussions, providing valuable insights and ideas.
  11. Mentor and guide junior developers to help them improve their technical skills.
  12. Adhere to IBM's coding and security standards to ensure the security and integrity of the developed applications.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  14. Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively seek solutions to overcome challenges.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Java And Web Development Technologies: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Java Programming Language And Web Development Technologies Such As Html, Css, Javascript, And Jquery.

  • Experience With Software Development Lifecycle: Ibm Is Looking For A Candidate Who Has Experience Working With Different Stages Of The Software Development Lifecycle, Including Requirements Gathering, Design, Development, Testing, And Deployment.

  • Knowledge Of Web Application Frameworks: A Strong Understanding Of Popular Web Application Frameworks Such As Spring, Struts, And Hibernate Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Using These Frameworks To Develop Complex And Scalable Web Applications.

  • Familiarity With Agile Methodology: As Ibm Follows The Agile Methodology For Software Development, The Candidate Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment And Be Familiar With Agile Principles And Practices.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: An Application Developer At Ibm Should Possess Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Troubleshoot And Debug Complex Software Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Think Creatively And Come Up With Innovative Solutions To Meet Business Requirements.
