  1. Develop high-quality front-end applications using the latest technologies and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions for complex business requirements.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following industry standards and coding principles.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  5. Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in front-end development, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance our applications.
  6. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  7. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  8. Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to team members and leadership.
  9. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  10. Continuously strive to improve the user experience and optimize application performance.
  11. Maintain and update existing applications, identifying and addressing any technical debt.
  12. Adhere to IBM’s coding and security standards to ensure the integrity and security of our applications.
  13. Mentor and coach junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of learning and growth.
  14. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
  15. Represent IBM and our values to clients and external partners, building strong relationships and promoting a positive image of the company.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Front-End Development Languages: A Successful Applicant For This Role Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Html, Css, And Javascript, As Well As Experience With Popular Front-End Frameworks Such As Angular, React, Or Vue.

  • Familiarity With Agile Development Methodologies: Ibm Values Individuals Who Are Comfortable Working In An Agile Environment, So Experience With Agile Practices Such As Scrum Or Kanban Is Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Understanding Of User Experience (Ux) Principles: As An Application Developer, You Will Be Responsible For Creating User-Friendly And Intuitive Interfaces. Therefore, You Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Ux Principles And Be Able To Design Interfaces That Are Both Aesthetically Pleasing And Functional.

  • Experience With Version Control Systems: Ibm Values Collaboration And The Ability To Work In A Team. For This Reason, Experience With Version Control Systems Such As Git Is Important, As It Allows For Efficient Collaboration And Tracking Of Code Changes.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Technical Problems: As An Application Developer, You Will Be Responsible For Troubleshooting And Resolving Technical Issues That May Arise During The Development Process. Therefore, Having Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Attention To Detail Is A Must For This Role.
