Job Description

As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders. You should be able to scan the technology landscape and advise clients on emerging technology solutions to drive differentiation in services value proposition. You will need to collaborate with client engagement teams to lead solution design, project proposals, proof-of-concepts, and delivery of the solution implementation by infusing relevant assets and accelerators. You will need to evangelize assets and other cloud related best practices both internally and externally (clients, social, events, analysts).

Job Qualifications

  • 10 years experience with enterprise data architecture for transactional systems, analytical platforms

  • Hands-on development using and migrating data to cloud platforms

  • Deep knowledge in one or more leading cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, IBM Cloud, Azure, and Google Cloud)

  • Deep experience with relational and non-relational data platforms, Data Lake concepts, modern ETL and ELT Automation Techniques

  • Hands on experience in applications integration using OpenSource and commercial middleware’s
