Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and guest-focused individual to join our team as the Supervisor of our Front Desk department. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front desk, while delivering exceptional customer service to our guests.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the Front Desk department to ensure efficiency and exceptional guest service.
  2. Train and supervise front desk staff to ensure they are providing high-quality service to guests.
  3. Monitor and maintain Front Desk procedures and standards to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  4. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  6. Manage and maintain the hotel's reservation system and ensure all reservations are accurate and up to date.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies at the Front Desk, ordering additional items as needed.
  8. Assist with scheduling and payroll for Front Desk staff.
  9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to Front Desk staff.
  10. Stay updated on hotel policies, promotions, and events to effectively communicate with guests.
  11. Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and brand standards.
  12. Handle any escalated situations with guests and make decisions in the best interest of the guest and the hotel.
  13. Continuously seek ways to improve the guest experience and suggest new ideas for the Front Desk department.
  14. Act as a role model for exceptional customer service and uphold the hotel's values and culture.
  15. Attend meetings and trainings as required by the hotel management.
  16. Assist with other duties as assigned by the hotel management.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: A Supervisor At The Front Desk Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Guests, Colleagues, And Management At All Levels.

  • Experience In Hospitality Industry: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Hospitality Industry, Preferably In A Front Desk Or Customer Service Role, Is Required For This Position.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Managing A Team And Motivating Them To Provide Exceptional Service To Guests.

  • Proficient In Property Management Systems: Familiarity With Property Management Systems, Such As Opera Or Fidelio, Is Essential For Efficiently Managing Front Desk Operations.

  • Customer Service Orientation: The Ability To Anticipate And Fulfill Guests' Needs, Handle Complaints, And Provide Prompt And Courteous Service Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
