Shift Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Shift Engineer to join our team at Hyatt. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong technical background in engineering and maintenance. This position requires excellent multitasking and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work independently.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient engineering services to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction. They will also be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other related systems.To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in engineering and maintenance in a hotel or hospitality setting. In addition, candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient engineering services to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction. • Maintain and repair all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other related systems. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair problems with hotel systems. • Monitor and inspect hotel systems throughout shift to ensure proper operation. • Remain up-to-date with industry best practices in engineering and maintenance. • Follow safety regulations and company policies at all times. • Maintain accurate records and logs for repair and maintenance activities. • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely manner. • Communicate with other departments to ensure effective and efficient operations. • Assist in the training of new staff members. • Perform other duties as assigned.
