Job Description

At Hyatt, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Shift Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient running of our hotel facilities. In this role, you will be a critical part of our team, responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to keep our hotel operations running smoothly.We are looking for a Shift Engineer who is knowledgeable and experienced in maintenance and repair work, who is able to work independently and as part of a team, and who is able to maintain a high level of customer service. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to think on your feet, and have a strong attention to detail.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in general maintenance and repair work in a hotel or hospitality setting, as well as a valid driver’s license. A degree or certification in engineering or a related field is also preferred. Above all, we are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to support hotel operations.
Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
Maintain a high level of customer service.
Solve technical problems quickly and accurately.
Think on your feet and pay attention to detail.
Adhere to all safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Monitor and inspect hotel facilities for any necessary repairs or replacements.
Assist with any additional tasks as needed.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures.
