Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Group Sales Manager to join the Hyatt family! As the Senior Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue by developing relationships with meeting and event planners and securing group business for the hotel. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and provide exceptional customer service. If you're a motivated, enthusiastic individual with a knack for sales and a passion for hospitality, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with meeting and event planners, and secure group business for the hotel.
  2. Negotiate rates and contracts with potential customers.
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue from group business.
  4. Monitor competitors and industry trends to ensure the hotel is competitively priced.
  5. Prepare sales reports and analyze sales performance.
  6. Participate in sales trips and events to promote the hotel and its services.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints.
  9. Attend industry conventions and trade shows to network and generate leads.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of events.
