Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting

1. Oversee the financial operations of Hyatt's corporate entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Collaborate with other members of the Corporate Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
4. Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial reporting.
5. Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure efficient and effective operations.
6. Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
7. Prepare and review budget and forecast reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
8. Serve as a subject matter expert for corporate accounting principles and regulations, staying up-to-date on any changes and ensuring compliance.
9. Communicate and collaborate with other departments within the organization to gather necessary information and resolve any accounting-related issues.
10. Mentor and train junior accountants on financial processes and procedures.
11. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
