We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving growth. The Sales & Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing relationships with customers, and planning and coordinating events.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an understanding of the hospitality industry, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You must also have the ability to work independently and be comfortable working with deadlines and managing multiple tasks. Responsibilities:
- Manage sales activities, including initiating and responding to customer inquiries, preparing and executing sales presentations, and negotiating contracts.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and maintain contact with them to ensure their satisfaction with products and services.
- Plan and coordinate events, including determining the purpose and scope of the event, developing budgets, selecting venues, and managing logistics.
- Ensure events are properly staffed and run smoothly.
- Monitor event expenses and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
- Utilize customer service and problem-solving skills to address customer complaints and inquiries.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Assist in creating marketing materials and campaigns to promote events.
- Prepare reports and track metrics for events and sales performance.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including maintaining accurate records and updating customer databases.
