Job Description

The opportunity to join the team at Hyatt as a Restaurant Supervisor is an exciting one, and we are looking for the right individual to fill the role and take our restaurant operations to the next level. The Restaurant Supervisor is a critical role at Hyatt, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, has a strong eye for detail, and is an excellent problem solver. The successful candidate must have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of the Restaurant Supervisor at Hyatt:

  1. Manage day-to-day operations in the restaurant, including staff scheduling, supervising staff, and dealing with customer complaints.
  2. Ensure that the restaurant adheres to all local health and safety regulations.
  3. Develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  4. Monitor the performance of the restaurant staff and take corrective action when necessary.
  5. Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Train and mentor new staff in the restaurant.
  7. Monitor food and beverage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  8. Handle financial transactions in the restaurant, including taking payments and managing cash flow.
  9. Analyze customer feedback and recommend changes to the menu and services.
  10. Foster an environment of collaboration and teamwork amongst the restaurant staff.
