Maintenance - Painter

We are looking for a talented and experienced Painter to join our Maintenance team at Hyatt! As a Painter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repainting of the interior and exterior of our hotel, ensuring that our hotel looks its best. If you have an eye for detail and pride yourself on maintaining a high level of workmanship, this is the role for you.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of three years of experience in painting and a valid driver’s license. You will also possess the ability to work independently and in a team setting, with excellent communication and organizational skills. You will be a problem solver who is able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, scraping, filling, taping, and priming.
2. Mix paint to desired colors and apply to surfaces with brush, roller, or spray gun.
3. Inspect surfaces for imperfections and repair them prior to painting.
4. Clean up and maintain painting equipment and supplies.
5. Inspect and repair surfaces as needed for quality assurance.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
7. Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
8. Perform general maintenance and repair duties as needed.
9. Assist other team members with projects.
10. Ensure all work is completed to a high level of workmanship.
