Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the property, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests for maintenance assistance.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces.
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify and resolve any potential issues.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Follow all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies and equipment.
Remain up-to-date on all relevant codes and regulations related to maintenance and safety.
Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to provide exceptional service and resolve any issues that may arise.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the Hyatt brand with excellence.
Report any major maintenance issues or concerns to management immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications

Experience In Maintenance And Repair: A Maintenance Mechanic At Hyatt Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Maintenance Or Repair Role, Preferably In A Hotel Or Hospitality Setting. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Hvac, Plumbing, Electrical, And General Building Maintenance.
Technical Knowledge And Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Mechanical Systems And Equipment, Including Troubleshooting, Repair, And Maintenance. This Includes Experience With Hvac Systems, Electrical Systems, Plumbing, And General Building Maintenance.
Attention To Detail: As A Maintenance Mechanic At Hyatt, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Be Able To Identify And Resolve Issues Before They Become Major Problems, And Have A Strong Eye For Detail When Inspecting Equipment And Facilities.
Ability To Work Independently: A Maintenance Mechanic At Hyatt Should Be Able To Work Independently And Take Initiative When It Comes To Identifying And Completing Tasks. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well Under Pressure And Handle Multiple Tasks At Once.
Team Player: While The Ability To Work Independently Is Important, A Maintenance Mechanic At Hyatt Should Also Be A Team Player. They Should Be Able To Collaborate With Other Departments And Communicate Effectively With Colleagues And Management To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of The Hotel.
