- Prepare and cook meals according to restaurant's standards and recipes.
- Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials, using creativity and knowledge of current food trends.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of food items.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies.
- Monitor food quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies.
- Uphold the restaurant's high standards of customer service and strive to exceed guest expectations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth within the culinary industry.
- Represent the restaurant in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Line Cook In A Fine Dining Restaurant Setting.
Proficient In Food Preparation Techniques, Including Knife Skills And Cooking Methods.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Orders Simultaneously.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Take Direction From The Executive Chef And Work Collaboratively With Other Kitchen Staff.
