The Hyatt Hotels is looking for an experienced and organized Housekeeping Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate has the leadership skills to motivate our housekeeping staff and ensure our guests have a superior hotel experience. To be successful in this role, you will need at least 3 years of housekeeping supervisory or management experience in a hotel setting, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to develop and implement housekeeping procedures. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff in providing a high level of cleanliness and customer service.
- Supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department and ensure that all housekeeping staff are adhering to the hotel's standards and procedures.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment and ensure that all housekeeping staff are following safety protocols.
- Monitor and order housekeeping supplies to ensure adequate inventory.
- Monitor and document housekeeping staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Create work schedules for the housekeeping department and ensure that all staff are working their assigned shifts.
- Perform monthly inspections of the hotel rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures.
