Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including staff scheduling, room inspections, and inventory control.
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to hotel standards and policies regarding cleanliness and customer service.
- Create and maintain a safe and positive work environment for all housekeeping staff.
- Train and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure they are performing their duties in an efficient and effective manner.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards in all areas of the housekeeping department.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and manage the department budget, and ensure that all costs are kept within budget.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on all current industry trends and best practices in the housekeeping field.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotel staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
