- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of the hotel.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service and uphold brand standards.
- Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate special requests, room changes, and maintenance needs.
- Monitor and control housekeeping expenses, including labor and supply costs.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies for the housekeeping department.
- Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all housekeeping staff.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve housekeeping operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and recognition to housekeeping staff.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and record-keeping.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Position In Housekeeping, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Or Resort Setting.
Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Plan And Prioritize Tasks.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Housekeeping Operations, Including Cleaning Techniques, Inventory Management, And Budgeting.
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software, Such As Property Management Systems And Microsoft Office, With The Ability To Generate Reports And Analyze Data.
