- Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to any security incidents or emergencies.
- Conduct thorough checks of all areas of the hotel to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Monitor and control access to the hotel, including checking identification and verifying credentials.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security-related incidents and activities.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff and departments to ensure a seamless and secure experience for guests.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests and address any security concerns or inquiries.
- Stay up-to-date on all hotel policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations regarding security.
- Utilize security equipment and technology effectively, including CCTV and alarm systems.
- Train and provide guidance to new security team members, if needed.
- Communicate any security issues or concerns to management in a timely and professional manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and report any safety hazards or violations immediately.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the Hyatt brand and values.
- Continuously evaluate and improve security procedures to enhance the safety and security of the hotel and its guests.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in carrying out security responsibilities.
Previous Security Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-3 Years Of Experience In A Security Role, Preferably In A Hotel Or Hospitality Setting.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Security Officer, It Is Important To Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Guests, Colleagues, And Law Enforcement When Necessary.
Knowledge Of Safety And Security Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety And Security Protocols, Including Emergency Response Procedures And Fire Safety Protocols.
Physical Fitness And Agility: The Role Of A Hotel Security Officer May Require Standing, Walking, And Patrolling For Extended Periods Of Time, As Well As The Ability To Quickly Respond To Emergencies Or Potential Threats.
