Monitor and patrol the hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
Monitor and control access to the hotel, checking for proper identification and authorizations.
Conduct regular inspections of all hotel areas to identify and report any potential security risks or hazards.
Stay updated on all hotel policies, procedures, and emergency protocols to effectively handle any security-related situations.
Communicate effectively with guests, employees, and management regarding any security issues or concerns.
Investigate and report any theft, damage, or other security incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor and report any suspicious or unauthorized activities in and around the hotel.
Collaborate with other departments, including front desk and housekeeping, to ensure a seamless and secure experience for guests.
Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities, including incident reports and daily activity logs.
Stay current on industry security trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to security protocols and procedures.
Attend trainings and meetings as required to maintain proficiency in security procedures and protocols.
Adhere to all hotel and company policies and procedures, including safety and security regulations, at all times.
Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management to support the overall safety and security of the hotel.

Job Qualifications

Prior Experience In Security Or Law Enforcement: A Hotel Security Officer At Hyatt Must Have Prior Experience In Security Or Law Enforcement To Effectively Handle Any Security-Related Situations That May Arise.
Strong Communication And Conflict Resolution Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Handle Conflicts In A Professional And Calm Manner Is Essential For A Hotel Security Officer, As They May Often Have To Deal With Difficult Or Upset Guests.
Knowledge Of Emergency Procedures: A Hotel Security Officer Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Emergency Procedures And Be Able To Respond Quickly And Efficiently In Case Of Any Emergency Situation.
Physical Fitness And Good Health: The Job Of A Hotel Security Officer At Hyatt Requires Physical Fitness And Good Health, As They May Have To Stand For Long Periods Of Time, Patrol The Hotel Premises, And Handle Physically Demanding Tasks.
