As a Hyatt Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees. We are looking for someone who is professional, observant, and able to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Monitor hotel premises and ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
Conduct regular patrols and inspect all areas of the hotel to identify and prevent potential security risks.
Respond promptly to any emergency situations and take necessary actions to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to address security concerns and implement necessary measures.
Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with guests and employees.
Handle all security incidents and complaints in a calm and efficient manner, following established protocols.
Monitor and control access to the hotel, including screening visitors and monitoring CCTV cameras.
Conduct investigations into security incidents and prepare detailed reports for management.
Train and educate hotel staff on security protocols and procedures.
Stay updated on current security trends and implement necessary changes to keep the hotel safe and secure.
Maintain and update security logs and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, as well as local and federal laws regarding security.
Act as a liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Attend regular security meetings and participate in training sessions to continuously improve security measures.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Job Qualifications

Prior Security Experience: A Hotel Security Officer At Hyatt Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Security Role, Preferably In A Hotel Or Hospitality Setting. This Experience Will Ensure They Are Familiar With The Specific Security Protocols And Procedures Of The Hotel Industry.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Hotel Security Officer, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Guests, Colleagues, And Law Enforcement Personnel. This Includes Being Able To Diffuse Potentially Volatile Situations, As Well As Writing Detailed Incident Reports.
Physical Fitness: Hotel Security Officers May Need To Respond To Emergencies Or Physically Intervene In Situations, So They Must Be In Good Physical Condition. This Includes Being Able To Stand And Walk For Long Periods Of Time, As Well As Being Able To Lift And Carry Heavy Objects If Necessary.
Knowledge Of Emergency Procedures: In The Event Of An Emergency, A Hotel Security Officer Must Be Able To Act Quickly And Efficiently. They Should Be Trained In First Aid, Cpr, And Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Hotel's Emergency Procedures.
Attention To Detail: A Hotel Security Officer Must Be Highly Observant And Detail-Oriented. They Are Responsible For Monitoring Cctv Cameras, Conducting Patrols, And Identifying Potential Security Risks. Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Preventing And Addressing Security Threats.
