We are currently seeking a Front Desk Host to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests.   1. Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner upon their arrival to the hotel.
  2. Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded.
  3. Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing solutions and assistance as needed.
  4. Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's services, amenities, and local area to effectively answer guest questions and make recommendations.
  5. Process and handle guest payments and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless guest experiences.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including keeping track of and restocking necessary supplies.
  8. Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments and team members.
  9. Assist with reservations and group bookings as needed.
  10. Handle any guest complaints or issues with empathy and a sense of urgency, escalating to management if necessary.
  11. Ensure all guest information is kept confidential and secure.
  12. Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
  13. Attend meetings and trainings as required to stay updated on hotel operations and procedures.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for Hyatt, promoting a positive image of the hotel and its services.
  15. Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Front Desk Host Must Have Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Interact With Guests And Colleagues. This Includes Being Able To Speak Clearly And Concisely, Listen Actively, And Convey Information Accurately.

  • Customer Service Experience: Hyatt Values Providing Exceptional Customer Service, And Therefore, A Front Desk Host Should Have Prior Experience In A Customer-Facing Role. This Includes Being Able To Anticipate And Fulfill Guest Needs, Handle Complaints Or Issues Professionally, And Maintain A Positive Attitude.

  • Attention To Detail: As The First Point Of Contact For Guests, A Front Desk Host Must Pay Close Attention To Detail In Order To Ensure All Guest Needs Are Met. This Includes Accurately Entering Guest Information Into The System, Processing Payments, And Making Reservations.

  • Multitasking Ability: The Front Desk Host Role Requires The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once, Such As Answering Phone Calls, Checking Guests In And Out, And Responding To Guest Inquiries. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Strong Multitasking Skills And The Ability To Remain Calm Under Pressure.

  • Knowledge Of Hospitality Industry: A Strong Understanding Of The Hospitality Industry, Including Hotel Operations, Is Essential For A Front Desk Host At Hyatt. This Includes Knowledge Of Hotel Services, Amenities, And Policies, As Well As A Basic Understanding Of Local Attractions And Events To Assist Guests With Their Inquiries.
