Job Description

As a Front Desk Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, have a friendly and outgoing personality, and are dedicated to ensuring a memorable stay for our guests. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with ease, we would love to have you join our team!

  1. Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner upon arrival.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by anticipating and fulfilling guests' needs and requests.
  3. Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
  4. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating any issues to management when necessary.
  5. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations and assist guests with their stay.
  6. Collect and process payments, maintain accurate records, and balance cash at the end of each shift.
  7. Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  8. Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth and seamless guest experience.
  9. Assist with reservations, room assignments, and room changes as needed.
  10. Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
  11. Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions.
  12. Collaborate with team members to provide a positive work environment and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  13. Continuously strive to improve guest satisfaction and actively seek out opportunities to exceed guest expectations.
  14. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the hotel brand in a positive light.
  15. Perform any additional tasks or duties assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the front desk and the overall hotel.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Front Desk Host, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. This Includes Accurately Processing Guest Information, Handling Financial Transactions, And Ensuring That All Guest Requests And Preferences Are Noted And Followed Through.

  • Knowledge Of Hotel Operations: A Front Desk Host Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Hotel's Operations, Including Room Types, Rates, Amenities, And Facilities. They Should Also Be Knowledgeable About Local Attractions And Be Able To Provide Recommendations To Guests.
