Welcome to Hyatt! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Event Sales and Planning Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Event Sales and Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and managing the successful execution of events at our hotel. We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and a strong background in event sales and planning.   1. Develop and implement strategies to drive event sales and generate revenue for the hotel.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful events.
  3. Collaborate with the hotel's marketing and sales teams to create and execute effective event promotions and marketing campaigns.
  4. Conduct site visits and communicate with clients to understand their event needs and provide customized solutions.
  5. Create detailed event proposals and contracts, including pricing and terms, in a timely manner.
  6. Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning, including but not limited to venue setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation.
  7. Oversee event logistics and ensure the smooth execution of events, including troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  8. Monitor and analyze event sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving revenue and profitability.
  9. Train and mentor event planning and sales team members to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event sales and planning processes.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all event contracts, payments, and other relevant documents.
  12. Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as food and beverage, housekeeping, and finance, to ensure seamless event execution.
  13. Uphold the hotel's brand standards and ensure that all events align with the hotel's image and reputation.
  14. Handle any guest complaints or concerns related to events and work towards swift and satisfactory resolutions.
  15. Continuously seek out new business opportunities and actively participate in networking events and trade shows to promote the hotel's event services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Or Resort Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members.

  • Demonstrated Proficiency In Event Management Software, Such As Cvent Or Eventbrite, And Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Proven Track Record Of Achieving And Exceeding Sales Targets And Goals, With A Strong Understanding Of Budgeting And Forecasting For Events.
