- Develop and implement strategies to drive event sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand event sales.
- Manage the planning process for various events, including meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and provide customized solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
- Work closely with other departments, such as catering, operations, and audio-visual, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Create and manage event budgets, contracts, and proposals.
- Conduct site visits and provide detailed event proposals to potential clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Train and supervise event planning staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address any client concerns or issues.
- Maintain accurate event records, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to promote events and increase brand awareness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the event planning process.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Or Resort Setting
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Coordinating Multiple Events Simultaneously
Proficiency In Event Planning Software, Such As Cvent Or Eventbrite, And Microsoft Office Suite
