
Event Sales and Planning Manager

- Develop and execute a comprehensive event sales and planning strategy to drive revenue and exceed sales targets.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, including but not limited to budgeting, contract negotiations, logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure excellent customer service throughout the planning process.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of events and guest satisfaction.
- Continuously seek out new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competition to make strategic recommendations for event offerings and pricing.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and contracts to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
- Conduct site visits and attend client meetings and events as necessary.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Train and manage a team of event staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance to upper management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all events, including contracts, payments, and client information.
- Ensure all events adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional leadership, guidance, and support to the event sales and planning team.
- Continuously evaluate and improve event processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Setting
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment
Proficiency In Event Planning Software And Technology, Such As Delphi, Cvent, And Microsoft Office Suite
