As the Event Sales and Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. From corporate meetings to weddings and everything in between, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of events at our prestigious hotel. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and negotiation skills to join our team.   1. Develop and execute a comprehensive event sales and planning strategy to drive revenue and exceed sales targets.
  2. Manage all aspects of event planning, including but not limited to budgeting, contract negotiations, logistics, and vendor coordination.
  3. Act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure excellent customer service throughout the planning process.
  4. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of events and guest satisfaction.
  5. Continuously seek out new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and competition to make strategic recommendations for event offerings and pricing.
  7. Prepare and present detailed proposals and contracts to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
  8. Conduct site visits and attend client meetings and events as necessary.
  9. Oversee the creation and maintenance of event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  10. Train and manage a team of event staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  11. Manage event budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance to upper management.
  12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all events, including contracts, payments, and client information.
  13. Ensure all events adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
  14. Provide exceptional leadership, guidance, and support to the event sales and planning team.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve event processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Setting

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment

  • Proficiency In Event Planning Software And Technology, Such As Delphi, Cvent, And Microsoft Office Suite
