As a Digital & AV Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of all audiovisual equipment and technology throughout the hotel. Operate and maintain all audiovisual equipment and technology throughout the hotel to ensure smooth operation.
Set up and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment for meetings, conferences, and events.
Provide exceptional customer service to guests by responding promptly and efficiently to any technical issues or requests.
Stay up-to-date with the latest audiovisual technology and equipment to recommend upgrades and improvements.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of audiovisual services for events and functions.
Maintain inventory of audiovisual equipment and supplies, and coordinate repairs and replacements as needed.
Conduct regular maintenance and testing of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Train and assist hotel staff in the use of audiovisual equipment and technology.
Adhere to all safety and security protocols while working with audiovisual equipment.
Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to provide timely and effective solutions to any technical problems.
Keep detailed records of all audiovisual equipment and service requests.
Assist with budget planning and cost control measures related to audiovisual equipment and services.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
Act as a liaison between the hotel and external audiovisual providers to ensure all services and equipment meet the hotel's standards and specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is properly stored and secured.

Technical Expertise: A Digital & Av Technician At Hyatt Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Proficient In Operating Various Audiovisual Equipment Such As Projectors, Microphones, And Sound Systems.
It Skills: This Role Requires A Good Understanding Of It Systems And Networks, As Well As Troubleshooting Skills To Ensure Smooth Operation Of Digital And Av Equipment.
Attention To Detail: As A Digital & Av Technician, The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial. This Includes Accurately Setting Up And Configuring Equipment, As Well As Troubleshooting Any Issues That May Arise During Events Or Meetings.

They Should Be Able To Clearly Convey Technical Information To Non-Technical Individuals.
