- Install and maintain all digital and audio-visual equipment in the hotel, including but not limited to TVs, projectors, sound systems, and conference room equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with digital and audio-visual equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all equipment is functioning properly for guest use.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates on digital and audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep up-to-date with new technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Train and assist other hotel staff in the use of digital and audio-visual equipment.
- Work with external vendors and contractors for installation and repairs of equipment.
- Maintain inventory and conduct regular audits of all digital and audio-visual equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols when working with equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests by promptly addressing any technical issues or requests.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all equipment and services.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration between digital and audio-visual equipment and hotel systems.
- Uphold the standards and values of the Hyatt brand by delivering exceptional service and quality.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Knowledge And Experience With Audiovisual Equipment: A Digital & Av Technician At Hyatt Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Audiovisual Equipment Such As Projectors, Sound Systems, Microphones, And Video Conferencing Technology.
Technical Troubleshooting Skills: This Position Requires An Individual Who Is Able To Quickly Identify And Resolve Technical Issues With Audiovisual Equipment. This Includes Being Proficient In Troubleshooting Software And Hardware Problems.
Experience In Event Planning And Execution: The Digital & Av Technician Should Have Experience In Planning And Executing Events That Require Audiovisual Support. This Includes Setting Up And Operating Equipment, As Well As Coordinating With Event Organizers And Other Staff.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Member Of The Hyatt Team, The Digital & Av Technician Will Interact With Guests And Colleagues On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours: This Position May Require Working Early Mornings, Late Nights, And Weekends Depending On The Event Schedule. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Willing And Able To Work A Flexible Schedule To Accommodate The Needs Of The Hotel And Its Guests.
