Hyatt is seeking a highly motivated Digital & AV Technician to join our team and ensure that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable digital and audio-visual experience during their stay. Provide technical support to guests and colleagues in regards to digital and audio-visual equipment, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to digital and audio-visual equipment, including but not limited to, projectors, screens, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
Monitor and maintain the functionality and quality of digital and audio-visual equipment, performing regular maintenance and updates as needed.
Train and educate colleagues on how to use digital and audio-visual equipment effectively and efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful execution of events and meetings that require digital and audio-visual support.
Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends in digital and audio-visual equipment, making recommendations for upgrades or improvements as necessary.
Create and maintain a database of digital and audio-visual equipment, ensuring accuracy and availability for guest requests.
Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, providing timely and friendly assistance with any technical issues or questions.
Adhere to all safety and security protocols when handling and operating digital and audio-visual equipment.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the Hyatt brand and providing exceptional guest experiences.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Audio-Visual Equipment: A Digital & Av Technician At Hyatt Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Audio-Visual Equipment, Including Projectors, Sound Systems, And Video Conferencing Tools.
Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Familiar With Troubleshooting Technical Issues, Including Network Connectivity, Software Integration, And Hardware Malfunctions.
Experience With Event Production: Hyatt Often Hosts Events And Conferences, So A Digital & Av Technician Should Have Previous Experience In Event Production And Be Able To Coordinate Multiple Av Setups Simultaneously.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role As The Technician Will Be Working With Both Technical And Non-Technical Staff At Hyatt. They Should Be Able To Explain Technical Issues In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Potential Issues Before They Arise. They Should Also Be Able To Follow Instructions Accurately And Ensure All Av Setups Are Functioning Properly.
