  1. Develop and execute innovative and high-quality menu offerings that align with the overall vision and standards of the restaurant.
  2. Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  3. Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
  4. Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as the front of house team, to create a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate new and exciting culinary techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.
  7. Manage inventory and costs to maintain profitability while adhering to quality standards.
  8. Create and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source the freshest and highest quality ingredients.
  9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, leading by example and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  10. Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the dining experience for guests, soliciting and implementing feedback and suggestions.

Job Qualifications
  • Culinary Education And Experience: A Successful Candidate For Chef De Cuisine At Hyatt Should Have A Degree In Culinary Arts And A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Or Fine Dining Restaurant.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As The Head Of The Kitchen, The Chef De Cuisine Must Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Sous Chefs, Line Cooks, And Kitchen Staff.

  • Creativity And Innovation: Hyatt Prides Itself On Offering Unique And Innovative Dining Experiences To Guests, And The Chef De Cuisine Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Creating And Executing Creative Menus And Dishes That Showcase Local And Seasonal Ingredients.

  • Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation: The Chef De Cuisine Is Responsible For Maintaining High Standards Of Food Safety And Sanitation In The Kitchen, So A Thorough Understanding Of Food Safety Regulations And Best Practices Is Essential.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills: The Chef De Cuisine Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Front-Of-House Staff, Management, And Vendors To Ensure A Smooth Operation. They Should Also Have Strong Organizational Skills To Manage Inventory, Budget, And Menu Planning.
