  1. Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  3. Lead and manage a team of banquet staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  4. Create and maintain departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and make adjustments as needed.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and culinary, to ensure smooth and successful events.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to increase event bookings and revenue.
  7. Maintain high standards of quality and service, ensuring all events meet or exceed Hyatt's standards.
  8. Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  9. Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
  10. Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs and make any necessary adjustments to ensure their satisfaction.
  11. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, and implement new ideas to enhance events and improve guest satisfaction.
  13. Handle any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, taking appropriate action to resolve them.
  14. Act as a role model for the team, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to providing exceptional service.
  15. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop action plans for improvement.
  16. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure efficient communication and coordination for upcoming events.
  17. Stay updated on Hyatt's policies and procedures and ensure they are consistently followed by the team.
  18. Attend meetings and training sessions as required to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  19. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documents related to banquet operations.
  20. Continuously seek ways to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience.

  • Event Planning Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Event Planning And Execution, Preferably In A Banquets Setting. This Includes Coordinating With Clients, Creating Event Timelines, And Managing Event Budgets.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Role Of A Banquets Manager Requires Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members. This Includes Written And Verbal Communication, As Well As Active Listening Skills.

  • Attention To Detail: A Banquets Manager Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Aspects Of An Event, From Setup To Food And Beverage Service, Are Executed Flawlessly. This Includes The Ability To Troubleshoot And Make Quick Decisions When Unexpected Issues Arise.
