As the Banquets Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banquets department, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for our guests.   1. Oversee all aspects of the banquets department, including event planning, set-up, execution, and breakdown.
  2. Ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction for guests by maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
  3. Lead and manage a team of banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve banquet operations and enhance guest experiences.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as catering, sales, and culinary, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  6. Create and maintain budgets for the banquets department, including cost control measures.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
  8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  9. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  10. Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to keep staff informed and updated on company policies and procedures.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event planning and management.
  12. Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  13. Plan and execute special events and themed parties as needed.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations for staff and provide feedback for improvement.
  15. Adhere to all company standards and procedures while promoting a positive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Event Planning And Management: A Banquets Manager At Hyatt Must Have A Strong Background In Organizing And Executing Large-Scale Events, Such As Weddings, Conferences, And Corporate Functions. This Includes Knowledge Of Event Logistics, Budget Management, And Customer Service.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Banquets Manager, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members To Ensure A Smooth And Successful Event. This Requires Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Abilities: The Banquets Manager Must Lead A Team Of Banquet Staff, Including Servers, Bartenders, And Event Coordinators. They Must Have The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Direction, And Motivate Their Team To Deliver Exceptional Service.

  • Knowledge Of Food And Beverage Operations: Banquets Managers At Hyatt Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Food And Beverage Operations, Including Menu Planning, Catering, And Bar Service. This Includes Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations, As Well As The Ability To Create Unique And Memorable Dining Experiences For Guests.
